After many conversations with women wanting to change, but unsure how, felt stuck and defeated this is my take on it, what I learnt.
They are Repeating patterns, cycles, hating on themselves with poor selftalk and crappy habits they don’t like.
So here’s the thing - some red flags, signs, they all had in common.
And it was all about the mindset.
So I reversed the struggles, to find the opposite traits, how to fix it, what’s needed for a “healthy food” mindset;
This is what it looks, what the positive women did to make simple changes;
Choosing to eat based on desire and joy not skinny or scales, stopped judging - feeling guilt or shame for every morsel they ate -
Feeling in control, chilled out
Choosing to nurture and nourish
Balanced - mix of foods you enjoy
Not making food good or bad or mean anything about you
Having kindness, flexibility, self compassion - a positive dialogue of selftalk
Included well-being and health as part of your big picture
Focus on good things about you - not just the bits of you you don’t like
And honestly, the list of negativity in behaviours and thoughts, can be an endless sh*t show, draining your lifeforce.
But TRUTH Is - nothing positive and selfloving, nurturing will grow with constant self-bagging - low self belief, lack of self-trust - flags pulling you into a spiral of B.S.
Our language, thoughts, words and behaviour's are the body and brains feedback -
So if we are constantly telling ourselves we are crap, lazy, can’t do it - then we stay in a loop of feeling defeated before we even start.
Ask yourself these questions;
What self-loving, encouraging words would you give a friend (you)?
What do you want to give yourself?
What do you want instead?
How you treat yourself, speak to yourself is also the way you see yourself.
Time for a new view - change your lenses and perspective so you can change.
What are you doing, telling yourself that’s keeping you in a spiral of B.S and lies to self?
Happy to go into this more if it’s a thing for you!!!
