Some more great reasons to walk





Do you need more motivation to go out walking?


And yes, walking is exercise good enough or compliments other activities when consistent.


Its perfect, especially for the peep that don’t love exercise or are time poor.


We all need more activity, however we can do it, to enjoy it.


And I’ve had women say- “what good is just walking” it’s not enough - BUT vs nothing!!! If not doing any movement - hello)


So here’s my thoughts on this - as to what I think walking is really about.


So truth is walking is much more than just exercise!!


And doggies know it it’s pure joy for them and for us - it’s well-being;


  • it’s mindfulness, it’s noticing beauty,

  • it’s calming

  • it’s me-time

  • t’s doable - easy to fit in your day

  • it’s selfcare

  • it’s heart and brain health proven

  • Its prevention

  • It’s bone density

  • It’s keeps calories burning, metabolism ticking over

  • It’s helping balance sugars and hormones

  • It’s releasing stress and lowering cortisol (stress hormones) which store fat

We are designed to walk and as a health coach it’s the first port of call to get women moving again -


Because smashing our hormonal bodies is not required to feel good x


Of course we want muscle too that’s a given but when doing nothing, then walking - wins hands down.
