My top things to limit or avoid this holidays

Sometimes we can protect our energy and sometimes we are pushed to get it all done, but to avoid extra burnout and stress, I came up with some things I avoid like the plague where possible to protect my energy, so thought I'd share as a good reminder.

  • Peoples opinions and negativity about politics or covid

  • Stressful situations or people that drain your energy

  • Dehydration

  • Sunburn

  • Over loading on sugar

  • Over indulging In alcohol

  • Late nights if your not used to it

  • Wasting valuable time scrolling socials

  • A long to do list - unrealistic, so your totally overwhelmed

And my top things to enjoy more of this year

  • Nature Reading or music

  • Dancing

  • Laughing

  • Napping

  • Walking

  • Hydration

  • Being present

  • Fresh foods and Salads

  • Time out for nothing to do

So be mindful where and how you spend your energy - leave some love and energy for yourself.

After all it’s only Christmas, not worth wrecking yourself for it, even though we always do

And remember to have fun too x
