Are We Too Busy to Be Healthy?

I think the truth is, we are too busy to focus on being healthy.


We can often choose to keep "too busy" to avoid taking care of our emotions, connections and our health.


We are "too busy" to spend time on being healthy.


And something's gotta give and it's usually us, our health!!


Of course there are good reasons, but sometimes we can decide, choose how much we take on.


And I here you "busy lady" - your saying - Sure, but how am I meant to do that?


1.By having healthy boundaries with others and yourself

2. By having non-negotiables for space and selfcare each day

3. By honouring our own needs and letting go of overwhelm

4. Awareness around perfectionism, comparisonitis, self-judgements and criticisim - let it go

5. By having self-responsibility and a holistic approach and support to help you change



We already know how detrimental STRESS is on our body, immunity, weight, energy and mental health.


It's so important to have healthy practices - your "go to's" daily to bring you back to present moment, lower anxiety, aches and pains, stress and feel calmer.


So when will it change, when will you become important enough to make that appointment you've been avoiding, or finally go for that walk that you've been wanting to do.


Truth is, we will go to a professional for our biz, pay for good schooling for our kids, dancing, sport - but we won't spend on ourselves to fix our health.


Unless we are forced to listen to our body and our health is in dire straits.


We put solving health issues, in the too hard basket, because we think it has to be a big deal, we need to take big action. But it's really in the small stuff you do in your everyday life.


And by making time and space for you to breathe, make healthy habits part of your life, part of daily life.


If not now when?? It doesn't get easier but you do get wiser.


You will want to feel better, you will want to spend time, energy and money on what you value, on what counts. because how you live your life and the energy you have matters.


Don't be too busy to take care of you. x
